I was extremely fortunate to have been a part of the UW Computer Animation Capstone between 2015-2016. During production, I was in several technical groups and I was the lead for two groups, one of which was rendering and compositing. I also re-rendered and composited the film about 2-3 times during polish (2016-2017) and it really helped to improve the look and feel of the film. I really enjoy rendering and hope that I can contribute to another production in that way.
Please enjoy these frames from our film, Dancer By The Sea. On the side by side frames you'll be looking at one layer, the beauty layer, on the left and the final composited render on the right which is made up of several layers and masks and is combined altogether in after effects. Underneath I have included the final render again so that you can see it more closely.
